OUR PROGRAMS
Camp Wildwood is a two-week day camp located in rural Hampton, South Carolina that is design to offer children an adventure packed two weeks of fun and excitement! We offer swimming and water safety daily, field trips, drug awareness, highway safety, medicine look-a likes, disaster preparedness, fire safety, athletic activities, and arts & crafts.
Water Safety and Training
American Red Cross Certified Instructors
Camp Wildwood Summer Day Camp was established with the vision to teach youth the importance of safety in and around water.
Youth engage in water activities that are both educational and fun. These activities allow youth the opportunity to learn how to keep themselves safe when water is involved.
Youth have the opportunity to become certified lifeguards through an educational program equipped with activities directly geared toward youth completing with certification.
ATHLETICS
Outdoor Enthusiasts
Camp Wildwood Summer Day Camp is dedicated to promoting healthy initiatives.
Daily activities are planned and guided by trained staff to "keep youth moving". Large group activities include field experiences such as kickball, softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track and field. Smaller group activities include, but are not limited to, tug-of-war, jump rope, and foot relays.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Be Creative
Camp Wildwood Summer Day Camp allows youth to express themselves.
Youth engage in daily musical and hands-on craft activities. Youth sing songs and dance with the music. Games are played that invlove moving to music.
Youth create crafts that they are allowed to take with them upon leaving camp. Crafts are made from materials such as popsicle sticks, paint, craft paper, felt, markers, yarn, pictures, and beads.
